Grant Ave.

This is the entrance to San Francisco's Chinatown. It is located at the corner of the famous Grant Avenue and Bush Street intersection.  You may then walk north on Grant Avenue up to Broadway Street, which then branches East down to Kearney Street or West up the hill to Powell Street. Chinatown has grown and extends north into North Beach.

The inscription at the top of the gate reads "Teen Hau Way Goong" which translates to say "We all work under Heaven for the benefit of the common good."
