Emperor penguins are
60 to 90 pounds and 44 inches tall. They don't build a nest. They
brood their eggs on the father's feet. A flap of skin goes over
the egg to keep it warm. The mother goes out to sea to get food,
and a surprise is waiting when she gets back---a baby penguin!
Emperor penguins eat
krill and fish. It's enemies are killer whales, leopard seals,
sharks and birds.
