Tests

Tests consist of 20 problems that include a review of old facts and the pre-facts (+-0 ,+-1, doubles and a number away from itself). Students are given 1 minute or 1 minute and 15 seconds (depending on small motor skills) to complete the 20 problems.  A student must pass two tests with a score of 18 to 20 to move to the next number family.

Observe your students as they are taking the test.  Note the stategies they use or don't use as they solve the problems to help guide your instruction.
