The Pilgrims sailed to America. When they got there, they ate some food.

The Pilgrims came to America on the Mayflower. The Mayflower was made to carry things not people. It was a hard trip for the Pilgrims. There were big storms. They couldn’t clean their clothes.

Some Pilgrims had seasickness and one person died. It was a hard trip.

On the Mayflower there was a girl Pilgrim who had a baby. Half of the people died the first year. The Pilgrims didn’t want to go to the King’s church.

The Pilgrims had a church, but they didn’t like it. So they left. They wanted their own church. They traveled. Then 1 night there was a storm. 1 of the women had a baby. 1 of the poles broke. The fixed it. I of the Pilgrims said, “Land ho!” They were surprised.

The First Thanksgiving
Squanto taught the Pilgrims how to catch a turkey. On Thanksgiving the Pilgrims and the Indians had a big feast. They all celebrated Thanksgiving. They all had a good time.

This ship was called the Mayflower. The Mayflower landed on Plymouth Rock. The ship had 102 people on it. When they landed on Plymouth Rock, they wanted to wash clothes.

The Pilgrims were seasick from staying on the boat for 66 days. One lady had a baby on the Mayflower and she named him Oceanus. They did not have anything really good to eat, but they had to eat it. The water got disgusting.
