sound in other words: ball,call, fall,
tall, small...
2. The u
in must
has the short
u sound like at the beginning
of the word umbrella.
Must is a CVC word.(consonant, vowel,
consonant)
Challenges:
1. Look for little words inside of
big words. There are a lot on
this sign. Look in books.
Make a list of words that have little
words in them.
2. Make a list of short u words.
Remember, you should hear the umbrella
sound in the word.
3. Make a list of words that
end with st like in the word must.
